Gulsum Keskinoglu, a New York City artist, was born in 1989 in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. She embarked on her artistic journey by studying at Isparta Anatolian Fine Art High School in the Department of Painting. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mugla Faculty in Bodrum, majoring in Fine Arts with a focus on Sculpture. Her artistic exploration began with national group exhibitions, and she expanded her skills under the guidance of ceramic artist Tevfik Turen Karagozoglu in Bodrum, which eventually led to her first solo exhibition in Bodrum in 2015. In May 2023, Gulsum achieved a significant milestone by opening her own gallery in Williamsburg, marking a new chapter in her artistic journey.
